MonitorExam uses AI-assisted technologies to support examination integrity while maintaining fairness, transparency, and human oversight.
Purpose
MonitorExam's AI systems are designed to assist human reviewers in detecting potential exam integrity issues, not to make autonomous disciplinary decisions. Our AI-assisted approach balances automation with accountability.
AI Capabilities
MonitorExam AI systems may:
- Detect multiple persons in the frame during an exam
- Detect absence from camera view
- Detect prohibited objects on desk or in hand
- Monitor browser behavior and tab switching
- Identify suspicious activity patterns based on exam data
- Generate integrity alerts for human review
Important: These capabilities are designed to assist, not replace, human judgment.
Human Oversight
MonitorExam does not independently:
- Fail candidates
- Assign grades
- Apply disciplinary actions
- Make legal decisions
All AI-generated alerts are reviewed by human moderators or institutions before any action is taken. Institutions retain full control over final decisions.
